Mr. Bolarinwa Mabawonku is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)/Manager, IT & Strategy at Sagamu Microfinance Bank. He joined the bank in 2009 and rose through the ranks to become Head of Information in 2012, Manager, IT & Strategy in 2016 and Chief Information Security Officer in 2023. Bolarinwa has over 13 years of experience in Banking. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a MBA from UNICAF University.

As an Information Technology professional who is passionate about technology and with years of experience acquired from increasing responsibility positions in Information Systems Management, IT Operations, Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT Risk Management, IT Standards & Frameworks, Project Management and Strategic Planning and Management. Bolarinwa has pioneered ground breaking technologies and strategies that offer clients great value, security and flexibility in banking. He has vast experience working with cross-functional project teams and industry stakeholders to develop and drive IT Infrastructure projects to a successful completion.
